The Big Fish - 1997
John Walker had previously purchased various kinetic sculptures from Adrian for his private collection. Then in 1997 he commissioned the first piece for his own sculpture park and this gave Adrian the opportunity to experiment for the first time with the idea of creating ‘spacial illusions’. The image of a giant fish is magically formed from two directions, but changes dramatically as you walk around it.
